Development Diary

Development Diary 4th February The first thing i will do in the development of my prototype 2.5D game is work on Maya to create my models. 7th February What i am working on today is the core layout of my level. 14th February Today i have had to restart the process of creating the level on unreal since my last file was corrupted, the set back is only minor since the game wasn't finalised and was only the layout of how i wanted my game to run. This however gave me time to edit my first ideas over the past few days and work on new ideas for the route the player takes, hopefully now including drop down areas and such other interesting ideas. The new idea for the game revolves around traversing the map through vents instead of rooms as i had first hoped, this means that i can adapt how the window block(S) would work and make it the end goal of escaping, this benefits me since due to the fast approaching deadline i could spend less time working on the art and more on the gam
